|
|
Hi group,
When we start the XAL 3.1 client on our NT4.0 terminalserver we get the
following:
16 bit Windows Subsystem
Hidden Console of WOW VDM
C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An Installable Virtual Device Driver
failed Dll initialization. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
"Close" "Ignore"
No matter whether we press "Close" or "Ignore" the XAL client starts up.
Is there someone there have a solution to avoid the error box?
Best regards Sophus |

Sophus,
This is caused by a problem in the registry:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254914
Make sure you back up the registry before editing and any mess you make of
the registry is at your own risk! ;-)
Cheers,

It seems to be Symantecs' software problem and not XAL client. Check
your antivirus.
